3. What happens after a valid notice
Upon receipt of a complete, good-faith DMCA notice that meets all of the elements above, we will promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material and notify the editorial team responsible for the page. We may also notify the visitor who reads or hosts the content of the action taken.

- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that was removed and the URL where it had appeared
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification

- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court of the applicable jurisdiction and will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice
Send counter-notifications to contact@moviesoncomics.com (Subject line: DMCA Counter-Notification).
5. False or bad-faith claims
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing — or that material was removed by mistake — may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees, incurred by the alleged infringer or the service provider. Please file notices in good faith only.
6. Repeat infringers
It is our policy to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the editorial relationship with contributors who are repeat infringers.
7. Editorial fair-use position
Movies on Comics publishes original editorial commentary, criticism, news reporting, and scholarly analysis of comic-book cinema. Our use of franchise names, character names, film titles, and brief factual references is intended to fall squarely within the doctrines of nominative fair use, fair comment, and fair use as recognized under 17 U.S.C. § 107 and analogous international law. If you have concerns about a specific page, we encourage you to contact us directly before filing a formal DMCA notice — many concerns are resolved by editorial discussion.
