🦸 Marvel Cinematic Universe
The largest connected film franchise ever made. The "Infinity Saga" (films 1–22) is the cleanest entry point and tells a complete story arc, set up across 22 films, paid off in two finales. The "Multiverse Saga" (Phase 4 onwards) is more scattered.

Less interconnected than the MCU but with notable highlights. The DCEU is being rebooted into the new "DCU" by James Gunn starting 2025, but the previous decade of films stand as their own continuity.
The three DCEU films most generally agree are good. Skip everything else if pressed for time.

Three excellent DC films that exist outside the DCEU. Independent visions, no homework required to enjoy.

14 films across 24 years with two timelines, multiple reboots, and a soft reset via Days of Future Past. Now officially merged with the MCU multiverse via Deadpool & Wolverine. Hugh Jackman appears in 10 of these.

Original trilogy → First Class prequels → Logan. Skip the messy in-between (Origins, Apocalypse, Dark Phoenix).
